Star Wars is one of the most vast universes in fiction, but its theories are almost as incredible as the canonical stories of this galaxy far, far away. Today, we'll explore some of the best (and some not so best) Star Wars theories!

THE BEST STAR WARS THEORIES
Darth Jar Jar

This one's famous. Jar Jar Binks is one of the most horrific characters in the Prequel Trilogy, a comic relief as expressive as a door. However, some fans weren't content with hating the character and decided to turn him into a meme perhaps the greatest Star Wars meme.
The theory goes that Binks would be the greatest Sith Lord of all time, second only to even Palpatine, and the mastermind behind the Clone Wars until the Fall of the Jedi Order. The clown who introduced himself to Qui Gon Jin and Obi Wan actually used his bumbling persona to infiltrate the political arena. From there, he exerted influence to make Palpatine (his apprentice) Supreme Chancellor, and from that point on, the Fall of the Jedi was decreed.
Fans point out that Binks can clearly see himself using Jedi tricks to manipulate everyone around him, even convincing Jedi to follow his will, demonstrating his true power.
Of course, all of this is completely unfounded. In canon, Jar Jar's fate was explained in the comics, showing the extremely difficult and simple life he had during the Imperial Regime. But wasn't this also part of his plan? Hahaha, comment!
Luke is The Choosen One

Anakin Skywalker is officially the Chosen One, but for a long time, fans believed the prophecy was wrong by a generation, and that in fact, his son Luke would be the Savior of the Galaxy. The Force was definitely with him, as he was responsible for destroying the most powerful weapon in the universe, the Death Star, and defeating Vader and Palpatine.
Luke was largely responsible for the fall of the Empire, and unlike his father, he didn't make any terrible mistakes. For many, Skywalker is the perfect example of a hero, the perfect example of someone predestined for good, chosen to bring balance to the Force, to bring peace to the galaxy.
Obi Wan Was Father

Obi-Wan is suspected of having had an affair with Padmé, perhaps fathering Luke and Leia. But, of course, this is just an inside joke among fans. On the other hand, we have a more well-founded theory, which suggests Kenobi had a lost son with his great love, Duchess Satine.
Obi-Wan had a crush as a teenager, but he gave up on the Duchess to follow the Jedi doctrine. However, there is a character in Clone Wars, named Korkie, who is always with the Duchess, Bocatan, and other protagonists, but is not presented as the son of any of them. See the photo below, and see if he doesn't look a bit like our noble Jedi knight.

Palpatine Kill Padmé

Did Padmé die of grief? I don't think so! Anakin attacked his wife before being beaten by Obi-Wan on Mustafar, but he seemed remarkably well when Kenobi rescued her and took her to the immediate birth of her children.
Yoda and Obi-Wan receive the news that she has lost her will to live. On the other hand, Vader was teetering between life and death. While he gained strength from hatred, she lost it from grief. The theory claims that Palpatine used Padmé's life energy to save his apprentice through the Force. This explains how Padmé's mysterious death actually occurred.
Palpatine Let Mace Windu Win

Palpatine was defeated by Mace Windu in Revenge of the Sith, but did he really have the power to do so? Some say not. Theories suggest that Sidius foresaw Anakin's approach and allowed himself to be defeated so that Skywalker would see him as weak. The young man would see the Jedi as immoral and violent, and Sidius as fragile, and at the same time, the only way to prevent Padmé from dying, with his promises of immortality. Do you think Palpatine let Mace win?
Vader Brought Balance to Order 66

The theory of balance in the Force is very open. In this version, Anakin would have rebalanced the Force by destroying the Jedi Order. There were over 10,000 Jedi Knights, and only two Sith—seems unbalanced, doesn't it? After Order 66, there were hundreds of Jedi alive, but weakened, and two Sith, at the height of their powers. In theory, the Force would be balanced.
However, George Lucas himself refuted this theory, stating that the Dark Side is a shadow in the Force; the more powerful it is, the more unbalanced it becomes. Therefore, Anakin truly brought balance by distracting Palpatine in Return of the Jedi, throwing him into the Death Star pit.
Snoke Is Plagueis

Today, we know that the mysterious villain of the Sequel Trilogy was nothing more than a puppet of Palpatine. But before this bombshell, fans believed that Snoke was Darth Plagueis, Palpatine's master, the Sith who discovered immortality, and who may have faked his death at the hands of his apprentice, spending decades in the shadows, waiting for his moment to ascend to power.
However, this theory, which seemed truly plausible, was discarded after the villain's true (and terrible) history was revealed.
The Dark Side of The Ewoks

It's no secret that the Care Bears from Star Wars are excellent warriors, capable of defeating hundreds of Imperials alongside the Rebel Alliance.
After the Battle of Endor, the Ewoks sang and danced with the Stormtroopers' empty helmets, even using bones to drum on them. But whose bones were these?
Some fans speculate that the stuffed animals fed on the Imperial soldiers after the battle and then used their armor as hunting trophies. This isn't entirely unimaginable, since the natives of Endor were cold-blooded hunters, despite their harmless appearance.
Do you think this is possible?
Boba Fett Was Drunk

In Return of the Jedi, Boba Fett makes several foolish mistakes, including being accidentally defeated by Han Solo, falling into the mouth of the Sarlaac, where he nearly dies.
Many speculate that the bounty hunter was drunk from partying with Jabba and his minions, unable to act intelligently, and thus, being so ridiculously defeated in the fight against Luke Skywalker and his friends.
Mace Windu is Alive

After being electrocuted by Palpatine and thrown out a window, Mace Windu never appeared in theaters again. However, Samuel Jackson claims his character is alive, as he has no concrete proof of his death.
Several fanfics have been written about this possibility, including one we wrote (Darth Vader: Son of Darkness), featuring Windu's return.
His survival isn't impossible. Force lightning and falling out of a window are fairly common occurrences for Jedi and Sith. Do you think he's alive?
ET in Star Wars?

In The Phantom Menace, it's clear in the Senate scene that there are three aliens identical to those seen in Steven Spielberg's classic. This, of course, is a mere reference. However, it makes sense, since when this species visited Earth, it's clear they came from a very distant planet. This proves that, yes, Earth exists in Star Wars.
Another question is whether aliens can use the Force, since the alien from the classic can levitate Elliot's bike. Could this species be capable of using the Force?
